Buy for the bottleneck you have
Life Skills use gold, while Combat Talents use the points earned by leveling. Open Talents (T) and choose the Life Skills view. Follow the connecting parent nodes; paying for the final node alone is not enough.
For an early character, prioritize the problem you need to solve: running out of healing, a full carriage or time away from the game. The best purchase order depends on which of these affects your character.
Three early routes
The following paths and costs were checked in the 1.0.0i / Build 25690430 data planner. The purchases have not been tested in game.
| Goal | Required path | Full path from nothing |
|---|---|---|
| Refill Health Potion charges on return or revival | Auto Recovery 50 → Revive Cooldown Reduction I 150 → Auto Refill 500 | 700 gold |
| Sell unwanted equipment as the carriage collects it | Auto Recovery 50 → Gold Find I 150 → Equipment Auto-Sell 1,500 | 1,700 gold |
| Receive gold and XP after time away | Auto Recovery 50 → XP Gain I 150 → Expedition Camp 750 | 950 gold |
These totals include the shared 50-gold root. If you already own a node, subtract its cost; do not buy or count Auto Recovery again for each branch.
Make healing sustainable
Auto Recovery restores health on returning to town. Auto Refill restores Health Potion charges on returning to town or reviving. Neither name means that consumable buff potions are free or that a buff survives death.
Buy the recovery route when depleted healing charges force repeated stops. Confirm that the learned nodes are active, then check the charge counter after returning to town. Continue upgrading the Health Potion at the healer as your level permits; Life Skills do not replace potion upgrades.
Enable selling in Carriage Settings
After learning Equipment Auto-Sell, open Carriage Settings and select Auto-Sell for equipment rarities you no longer need. Leave rarities you are still evaluating on Pick Up.
The selected equipment is converted into gold when picked up, even during combat, and does not occupy carriage space. Buying the node without changing the rarity action does not choose which gear should be sold for you. Check that gold rises and those unwanted drops stop filling the carriage.
A full carriage stops collecting new equipment unless another unlocked feature provides space. Auto-Fill Inventory can send new collected loot into free inventory slots, but it is a later convenience unlock, not part of the 1,700-gold selling path.
Add offline rewards when useful
Take the Expedition Camp route when you regularly leave the game. The release text describes gold and XP based on the highest area unlocked, collected when you next enter town. It is not evidence that several characters can fight in parallel.
The basic away-time cap is eight hours; Expedition Supplies nodes extend it. Buy those extensions only when your usual absence exceeds the existing cap. Do not budget offline rewards as equipment or material drops.
Check the result before buying more
Use a short run to check whether the actual problem improved: healing charges refill, unwanted gear sells, or an offline reward becomes available. If combat itself remains unstable, resolve skill and equipment problems before spending everything on more convenience nodes.
This route is written for the character whose tree you are purchasing. Account-wide sharing has not been established here; check another character’s tree before assuming it inherits the purchases.
